Leave things open indefinitely if you need to - again, there's certainly nothing wrong with that - but dangling carrot, after dangling carrot is a bit much and it's unnecessary!! He maintains right teaching in a clear, easy to understand way. I don't need or want to know at all!! I can tell you however that what I did read was really good and makes me wonder why Taylor is such an under-rated author. Nothing earth-shattering, but certainly a nice, concise package of what it means to live a sacrificed life to God. Ingram uses his own spiritual journey to show how this passage can be applied.
